Today we are officially a business and registered!
This has been a process to reset, rebrand, and redesign. Things can only go up from here. June is a month of pride, abudance, and sunshine. So here we are letting the sunshine in. We are making a promise to keep the vibes right and keep truck'n this summer with new art and some vinatge fashions. Making this a hot business summer to remember!
Office/Studio Makeover
The office/studio got a makeover yesterday! Sometimes you have to purge the unneeded, organize the old, and make way for the new. As artists it can be hard to get rid of our materials, no matter how old or unused. Somethings are expensive and sentimental. So we used an old dresser to keep all the art and craft materials well organize and out of sight. Each drawer has a purpose, sewing, sculpture, painting, etc. This makes the office way more organized and easier to use.
Let It Go
Other times you can't just organize, you have to make space and let it go! We found an owner for our old desk, we posted the desk free on facebook marketplace. Thank you to the couple who came to pick it up and gave it a new home. Hopefully the old TV will get a new life as well. As much as we love collecting things, we really do appricate when our old items can be upcyled or recyled by our neighbors or friends. Just like Groovy Thrift and Gift, we want quality vintage and hand made gifts to last even if that means giving them a new home.
